Newer Than New in Virginia

I was looking for a regular 9-5 job to fund the expenses of starting my own agency, which is thinking far ahead for me because I'm still in the process of getting my license but have succeeded in sales before.

After being contacted by a marketing company that sells leads, I realized that breaking into this industry could be a lot more complicated than I realized at first, but I'm still determined to give it a shot, and then I realized that I hadn't even looked for a forum like this.

Hello everyone!

Hi. Welcome. Lots to learn here.

Welcome. Consider joining the Virginia Association of Health Underwriters. VAHU.org

Through Networking meetings, use of websites, newsletters, emails, HIU magazine and message boards, VAHU helps insurance advisers have the most current industry information.

Like yourself, I am also brand new to this industry (still need to study for and take my licensure exam). I wish you the best of luck in your endeavors. I myself have a LOT of ground to cover...
