I just got my 2-15 license and looking to sell final expense policies part time. I'm brand new and can anyone guide me on how to get appointed. I know you have to be appointed withing 24 months or your license will lapse in FL. Can I appoint myself as an unaffiiliated agent so that my license won't expire?

Just call a company you want to get appt with. Foresters, Oxford, MoO etc. You don’t have to be under anyone.

I am newly licensed ( Life & Health) and need to know if I signup to become a broker with a Life Carrier. Why are they asking for money to get an appointed & agent number with them? Will all carriers I apply for ask for money too? Thank you

I'm having the same issue. I need to get appointed so that my license wont expire. How do I get appointed without having to pay fees to my "employer". I just want to work for commission but why is it every place ua asking me to pay for leads. Is there any job where I can work for commission? Seems like a lot of scam I'm encountering. I could be wrong.
