Newly Licensed (life, Accident, and Health & Hmo TX) and Looking for Guidance.

Newly Licensed in TEXAS!

I am looking for help in what might be the best way to go. I realize it is going to take work but I am hoping to find experienced individuals who will help me work smarter and not harder. I would appreciate some steps and direction there are so many options out there and I would really like to make the best decision possible. I have read some negatives about several companies and I would really like to know about the positive most reliable options available. Please help me so I can help others. Thank you.

Welcome to the Forum!

Perhaps if you told us a little more about yourself, a fine Texas (or elsewhere) agent will step forward and assist you.

Information such as where in Texas you live, your insurance experience (if any), and what type of insurance you would like to specialize in.....would be a good start!

Good Luck!

I live in Fort Worth, TX. I have limited experience selling health insurance to phone leads (leads requested info, but were not exclusive). I would also include dental, term life and accidental gap ins. for their insurance needs. I'm looking to do something over the phone that can bring in a steady income so I can support my family. Looking for the best company, one that offers training and other support. Thank you again.

What about Liberty Mutual? I think they are in the DFW area if I'm not mistaken.

I am considering all options. Possibly FE or anything I can do over the phone preferably, feel my time would be better spent not driving all over the state of Texas or Dallas/Tarrant and surrounding counties. I hope that helps.

I do not offer advice on phone sales but I do welcome you and wish you the best.

Welcome to Texas!

It sounds like you are independent. Perhaps working for someone else for awhile is a good idea so they can teach you the ropes. A mentor can be a wonderful thing.
