Nitro Taken for GERD

Has anybody else heard a client/prospect tell you that they were prescribed nitro for GERD. I thought the first guy was just confused or lying, but I just had another lady tell me the same thing.

I googled it, and it seems that people can be prescribed Nitro for extreme acid reflux.

Has anybody else ever heard this in the field?

A lot of conflicting info on the net.

This page says Nitro may aggravate GERD instead of relieving it.
