Hi all: I am a writer and researcher. I am on the forum because I often use it for research on insurance topics. I really enjoy writing on this topic, especially on property/casualty issues. I am trying to develop a social media service for independent agents and I am looking for input on what kind of content marketing is useful to agents as I put this together.

Welcome. Since it seems as if you are preparing for an offer, I would first spend ample time offering your views on Social Media and other content marketing in the P&C Forum.
I think you should offer to help an agent or two (pro bono) and use that assistance to springboard your aspirations. If you can help Forum members, and possibly get some recommendations, you will find that can only help you.
