Hi All,
I have only worked for State Farm and Allstate since I obtained my P&C license and I need a change. I want to go out on my own. Are there any companies that have multiple appointments and agents can write for them. I want to start with p and c but I have l &h too. I just don't know where to begin. I am tired of not being able to write everything that comes in the door or at least quote it. I'm in Georgia.

Welcome to the forum. I don't know much abou P & C but from what I've read on the forum, it seems to be a challenge to get appointed with carriers w/o working with an agency that will appoint you. On the L & H side its as simple as etting some E & O from a vendor like Errors and Omissions Insurance - E&O Insurance for Financial Professionals, finding an upline (like me or any of the other marketers on the forum) and get contracted with carriers.
I'd also suggest looking into www.iliaa.org or www.insuranceproshop.com for training.

Hi there. Yes it can be tough to be captive and not be able to help everyone or offer other companies. There are independent companies that will allow you to be appointed with multiple carriers. I'm here in GA, send me a message, I can help.
