Obtaining an MVR from Chile

Does anyone know how to get an MVR from a different country, namely Chile?

I have a client moving from Santiago, Chile to the USA. My umbrella provider is asking for 3 years prior driving record from Chile. I have no idea where to even start. Does anyone have any experience with this?

Thanks
Brad

The client has to write the DMV of that country and get them to send it. I've only gotten it once.

Oh yeah, it has to be translated into equivalent codes as well.

Basically, unless the insured can get a copy before he leaves the country, don't count on it happening.

Yes I've had the same non-results... to get an mvr from a foreign country is almost impossible.. most countries, even the civilized ones like Denmark, etc, don't even have systems that keep track of violations. Now the best you might do is get a letter from their previous auto carrier in that country for losses but it wouldn't list violations
