Online Insurance Reports & Statistics

Years ago, I had access to a FREE tool that allowed you to query on annual life, health and p&c insurance companies. Not a static PDF report like you can get from the NAIC but real stats.

You could pull back reports such as:

• Life Insurance Companies by Premium
• Life Insurance Companies by Face Amount
• Life Insurance Companies by Assets
• and much more...

Between several computers, I have lost this website. It was some type of non-commercial statistical site, possibly funded by the insurance industry. It was the real deal. No ads, no crap. Just real data.

Anybody know what I am talking about or have any similar resources?

The first place that comes to my mind is A. M. Best.

A.M. Best Company, Inc.

Register and poke around to see what kind of statistical data is available.

There are a lot WFS.

The National Association of Insurance Commissioners is one that comes to mind.
The Insurance Information Institute is another.
Statista is one that has "some" free information
Various State Insurance Departments are very obvious
