Open an agency

So a friend and I are wanting to open an agency. We are life and health licensed, but we also wish to sell p&c...We both work w FFL, what would be the steps we need to take to open our own agency?? Is that possible?

To get your head examined. Seriously, I would not suggest providing P&C, at least personal lines, in Florida at this time. Commercial - I can not say.

Life, Health, you could probably do well. I would spend a lot of time researching and first start to work for an exisiting agency and learn on their dime.

Create a real business plan.... don't drink the MLM "build a business" kool-aid. Learn accounting, make sure you know how to sell, create a marketing strategy, and save up some money. Most of the business advice you will receive from MLM companies like FFL is absolute poison.
