I am sure that by bow most of the SNL agents have received email's concerning the aggressive push SNL is making to increase new business productions.. It seems it started back with the onset of COVID 19. A company that had no tele sales platform developed one and released it in a matter of a few weeks, and it is a darn good one.

Some more things are to be introduced soon. Here is a portion of an email from Frank Long, the regional guy for East Tennessee and Georgia.

2021 will be an exciting year for all of us at SNL, we will be recruiting heavily all around the county. We are always on the lookout for new talented Final Expense agents.

We will be rolling out our new and improved Telesales format in about a week -

1) We will have a virtual call center- with TV commercial calls and live transfers available to all agents - you will be able to log in on your computer to take calls, straight to you everyday - and as many calls as you like. The number of sales you can make will be huge!

2) As far as in the field sales and leads- We will have a lead portal available to everyone. You will be able to pull Direct Mail Leads (from all lead areas) from a library on your computer. This is AWESOME news. it will save all of us time and money.

3) We will be rolling out a new system called - Agent Portal 2.0- This will replace the Snapp system we are currently using. I will send out an email tomorrow with an instructional video on how to use it along with a download link.....so be looking out for that.

What do you think of these ideas? Especially, the idea of building an inventory of Direct Mail leads that agents can draw from instead of having to wait for a mailing to be sent out and responses to come back in?

The thing that would concern me is that they would begin to grow so fast that they lose the personal touch that makes them so easy to do business with.

YES - if those are LIVE incoming calls from people watching TV commercials (I'm not so sure about those transfers??) then the number of sales should be huge....

BUT - What concerns me most is - if you do take their TV - you are required to put that customer into a SNL product....

Under the adage of "always do the right thing by the prospective insured"...putting them into a graded policy for let's say COPD or diabetic neuropathy - seems contra indicated!!!

Shame on them...the curse of the captives and if you are an independent agent and want to get their TV the same holds true you're required to write them into a SNL product....SO be independent and still get all the TV you want...call me...

I was following you up until your explosive growth expectations. I've learned from my experience in security analysis that even though a company's past performance does not guarantee future results, predictions can be made concerning based off historical information. It's ironic that I prefaced my response this way, because SNL is actually publicly traded.
In any event, these are great improvements and appears to be a sound growth strategy for the company, as well as creative opportunities for agents. From what you posted, I like the growth strategy. I can definitely relate to your concern, however. So often you hear of companies so focused on growth, that they lose sight of providing quality product/service. Let's hope they don't fall victim to the success of their plan.
 
What is the cost of the tv leads and direct transfers? Being licensed in over 20 states is reasonable to expect an agent to be to generate a somewhat consistent flow. Just my thoughts, probably missing something but What the HECK. Hope everyone is healthy and well and as always a Happy New Year To The Warrior Class. Now Back to the Shadows.

WRONG My FRIEND....very wrong.....
Take care of the customer and you'll shall be taken care of....and sleep well at night...

So - F the lead!!! You believe that you should put a family at risk because of where the lead came from??? That's an awesome way to live life....

I told NorthStar to F off for this very same reason and told Tommy he can shove his TV calls (before I put my program together) where the sun don't shine!!!

My wife has a good saying: "What goes around comes around"....that's what's gonna happen when one puts people who don't know any better at risk...

PS: I like SNL...use them for what they are good for...decent rates for non-smoker and great rates for smokers. Just don't put COPD and diabetic neuropathy there!
