Overseas Father and Mother in Law?

My wife's parents are coming to visit for 3 months. They are not US citizens, but we have obtained Green Cards for them.
My assumption is that health insurance for them will be costly. Have any of you had experience in this?
I understand that having a Green card, they will be eligible for medicare benefits?
