P and C Producer Groups

I am a member of a few Life and Annuity Producer groups. We pool our production to get highercommissions. I know there has to be P and C shops doing the same thing. I haveseveral IMO contracts on the life and annuity side but nothing for P and C. I am looking into expanding into the P and Cmarket. If anyone could recommend a P and Cproducer group I would appreciate the help.

This is called a cluster. There's several major ones that have been around for a while, such as SIAA, ISU and Iroquois Group. Do a search here, you'll find literally dozens of threads on the pros and cons of each.

Iroquois has a very good program for Independent agencies, compared to their competition. However, I believe you will find that they are not generally able to provide adequate markets for P&C 'start-ups' unless the agency has one or more reasonably experienced P&C agents in-place. It has more to do with their strong stable of carriers not being particularly interested in providing codes to the individual member agencies, unless they can demonstrate a reasonable amount of P&C experience and capabilities. However, you can always contact them. They have a good reputation for being responsive and for trying to help steer you in the right direction, even if their program cannot directly help you.
