So far it looks like there is going to be a cherry market of people who have health conditions that been stuck in over priced Med Supp plans that can now switch to a GI.

Yesterday was my first day showing plan N. My first appointment I switched the client got a referral . I went over to the referrals house switched her over to N got another referral from her , went to the next referral swithed him and got another referral husband and with swithced them over. I ended with 5 plan apps Friday off one appointment.

All my sales were thilled of the amount of money I could save and vulonteered to call their freind to set up an appointment.

i just started to show plan N

Great savings for clients. They can easily afford 20.00 co-pay for Doctor visit. I saved 3 clients a total of 5500.00 a year. Fast issue and more comm.

Sometimes not even $50. I spoke to an obese (very obese) woman this morning about a ST plan that would cost $54 per month. She only needs coverage until open enrollment with her employer in December.

She said that was too expensive.

I don't deal with the MS market. But can you tell me why there is a GI product that seems to be so attractively priced?

Because insurance companies have had a change of heart and really want to help people? Maybe.

Most probably because they see what direction the MA plans are going and want to capture a healthy percent of that market.

MOO has set the bar in their Plan N offering. Not only are the premiums substantially less they have also done something that I have never seen since becoming an agent. Because the premiums are lower for a Plan N MOO has increased the agent's commission so the agent would not suffer a financial loss when selling Plan N.

Don't be a "Chump", jump in the Med Supp market now.

this is exciting! I have my first appointment this afternoon to see a lady in MO that didn't qualify with another company because of a "tia" she had last year. I looked at MOO's United World in Kansas and they have to undergo underwriting for the plan N. Is there a plan N product IN KANSAS i can sell that bypasses the health question? I have a huge handfull of people i can contact if so!

In every state that MOO is in, Plan N is either GI or they only have the ESRD question on their app. In sixteen years I have only run across a hand full of people who could not answer "NO" to that question.

Missouri and Kansas both have the ESRD question. If they can answer "no" to that one question then you can write the app regardless of any other health issues they may have.

I bet MoO is going to get flooded with plan N applications, if they haven't already. It may be why I have a plan C med-supp pending for 7 days...and it's open enrollment for the applicant.
