Producer Position in Nevada

First thanks to everyone here for all the information. I have been reading a lot.

I am looking for a 1099 producer position with an independent agent in Las Vegas/Henderson Nevada.

I have 7 years experience as a producer for a local State Farm agent with annual production of 280k a year in P&C Life not including bank products.

This production came from calling x dates lists and minimal leads. There was very little walk in traffic.

I have a marketing plan in place and have clients ready to sell. I do not have a non compete.

I would like to build a book under your agency with the option for a buyout in 10-15 years.

The reason I am not going independent myself is after reading all the information here I realize I don't have the capital to start from scratch.

That's pretty ambitious. You know what else is ambitious? Starting your own agency. The only difference is that you make more money with the second option.

I would love to start my own agency. I have the drive but not the funds. We have added 3 small children to our household so money is tight and failure is not an option.

I hear ya, many independents are starting off online nowadays. Mitigating the up front cost to operate in a office. Best of luck to your endeavors!
