Question About GA's

I am currently set up with (2) GA's. I do this because for some reason they don't mirror each other in commissions. They each have the same carriers though. So if i rate the same policy through each GA- I understand that the quote I can get online is reflected as an indication only, and subject to underwriting. My question is- will 1 GA find out about the other if I quote the same customer? I think Travelers locks a quote so no other agency can quote that client. Any ideas?

if you have dual contracting for the same carrier then they don't know where the business is placed. The GA will not know if you are legally dual contracted.

I know that many carriers lock the quote for 30 days, just like Travelers.
I recommend to deal only with one, it will be easier for you too. Because the more business you do with them, the faster they respond to your new apps and other requests, such as endorsements and so forth.
