Question? Selling FE over the phone/mail

I have some questions for the folks who sell Final Expense over the phone? I know Royal Neighbors will allow this but what other companies accept applications without the agent being present when signed?

I have also heard that some companies will accept applications without signatures. How does that work? Do you get bank info over the phone? Do the companies bill direct? ect...

I know there are some agents that make their living doing things over the phone and thru the mail. I always enjoy hearing about different ways to be successful in the business.

Thanks in advance,

P.S. I still have Royal Neighbors Contracting available…. And also plans for cheap Direct Mail Leads!!!

Re: Question? Selling FE over the (phone/mail)

I know that Shenandoah has a program that they're not advertising where you can take the entire application over the phone. You still have to type in the information as it's being recorded on your computer and then upload the MP3 file at the end of the online application.

The process is VERY tedious and very long. I did my "audit" today, testing out the system of recording and submitting the audio. It took 19 minutes JUST for the voice application part over the phone. This did not include the warm up, exploring/exposing the need, explaining the policy - giving rates and explanations and then getting them prepared for the telephone application.

While I haven't done any real applications over the phone with all of the aforementioned requirements mentioned above yet, I can bet the whole thing will take at least an hour on one successful sales call.

The good thing is you can jump from one person's house to another person's house (via phone) instantly when things go south.

I don't think Shenandoah is rolling this out to all FMO's yet. The guy I'm going through is only giving out 100% commission contracts to go through them for this "tele-sales" program. They're just getting started. One agent last week reported that he did 5 applications over the phone. I'd guess one, maybe two will drop off and that leaves 3 for the week. I couldn't survive on that, that's for sure, especially working it full-time on the phones and burning through your own leads that fast.

You can do Great American Life over the phone and it does not take long at all.
