What is a realistic timeline for receiving the DM leads. Meeting the prospect , Closing the sale, then submitting the paper to getting paid.
The only varible there is getting the leads. With EFES I got my leads on Sat. I used Monday to set appoints for Tues. Whatever I sold on Tues I faxed in that night. I was usually paid on Thursday or Friday of that week.
Since my leads came in every Sat it was the same schedule every week.
If you are doing your own mail then it's up to you to mail every wek to keep a steady flow coming in. If you skip a week then so will the leads.

I do not doorknock but doorknocking would not slow down the process. If you fax in your applications for the day you should get paid in 2 or 3 days.
Only thing that will slow it up is not writing applications.

I will be paying for my first lead drop this Friday with EFES. I signed up for the 25 leads with a commitement of 20 leads a week. So you are saying that it will probably be about 3-5 weeks before I get all of my leads back?
If I'm to have EFES drop mail for me everyweek so that I can get my 20 leads a week, what happens if I'm still waiting on my first order of 25? Will EFES drop the next week for me? I know it takes some time to get the system down but I'm trying to see if it is advisable to buy some more of the bonus leads while I wait.

The mail takes time. EFES mails them out of texas, so itll take at least a few days for them to reach the mail box, then the prospect has to not only fill them out but then actually drop them in the return mail, which then they go back to TX and get scanned in and sent to you once received.

One could go through a DECENT tele lead company and get a tele lead order filled in 2-3 days. Great way to fill some gaps when needed. I havent used them but i hear PHR has pretty good tele leads. A lot of buzz lately around TLC (The Lead Connection) but im not sure if they offer tele leads or what the quality is......?

EFES will send as much mail for you as is needed to get you the 20 per week. That's the beauty of the EFES system. They do all the dirty work for you. If they are mailing a new area, meaning one where they have not had an agent, it might take them a few weeks to find out what that number is to mail.
If there was an agent there before then they should already know. It will still take a little while to get to the 20 for a week but once they start rolling then you will will get them every Sat.
But, and this is a big BUT, if you do not write business off the first couple of batches they will stop mailing until you show you can make it worth their time to continue to mail for you.

I got 12 leads in my PO Box today that were mailed in by the prospect yesterday. I could see them tomorrow, right apps, submit apps, and get paid by the middle of next week. Those leads were mailed on 9/19. To sum up: Mailed 9/19, received 9/26, sold 9/27, Paid 10/2. Like JDeasy says, just keep on that schedule by ordering every week.
