Exchange certifications expire 2 years after being obtained. Many of us took the courses in August-October 2013 in advance of the first OEP.
My exchange sent notice to all brokers last night that there will be no longer be any certification courses available. They are "developing" on-line only courses that "should be available late summer 2015".
There will be no CE (when the other ones were 8 credits each, SHOP+Indiv was enough to meet the 15 credit requirement for renewal), but there also won't be a cost.
Have any of you received anything from your state or federal exchanges outlining the procedure for recertification?
