Not just because his popularity will be down but because, as John Bolton says, Obama is "post-American." He is beyond American values and they love him in Europe and around the world so he will move on to something global. Actually, Al Gore has given him a little glimpse of how good life can be for a professional, global bloviator.
He doenst care that much about policy and wars and all that nitty gritty and why stick around being criticized when you can breath out your nostril and get a Nobel Peace prize.
