I was not sure where to post this but it seemed to be the closest fit on the Forum.
I believe many of you use Ring Central as I have seen that in some posts here on the forum.
My problem is that I recently switched local phone companies-Qwest to Mediacom specifically and am having trouble getting Mediacom to transfer the call after 4 rings or no answer like Qwest did.
In my settings;
My numbers forwareded to Ring Central;
I requested that my number be forwarded to Ring Central after 4 rings or no answer but after a whole month, Mediacom has not done this.
I tried using *72 for a while but it immediately transfers the number, and if you are home, you have no option to answer the call.
Ring Central says that they are connected to Qwest in a way that they are not with Mediacom and the only way is to contact Mediacom directly.
The problem is; when talking to Mediacom they have no idea what I am talking about and only suggest *72..
Anyone else had a problem like this?
Thanks
