I was checking out their website and did some comparisons, same face, age,m or f, on apps I have, and happen to notice their quotes are a little less than Monumental.
Of course, this is for preferred because they don't have health questions on their website so I assume their quoted rates are preferred, low balling anyone checking their rates.
I thought Colonial Penn was supposed to be overpriced ?
Anybody have a good answer on this ?

They have 5 plans listed on their site. All of them...except the GI plan(2 year wait/ROP) has this under each one..."No medical exam - your answers to a few health questions help us determine your eligibility".

Not sure what your looking at, but mon life pref female 64, $10k is 39.90, cpl is 44.72 for wl with med questions.

Male mon life pref $10k age 64 is $53.80, cpl is $62.96

Unless, your talking about monlife std rates... but those are a joke...

I ran into a 67 FNT yesterday who had a Colonial Penn policy about 6 months old. It was a term to age 90. It was the easiest replacement I have seen in a long long time. Her future payments were all spelled out in writing. After the first three years her payment was higher than the payment I got her on a WL guaranteed to never change.

It was a funny kind of deal. She was a press one lead and the info she left was the wrong name and age. On the phone she was very evasive and finally suggested she was looking for information for her daughter, which turned out to be a lie. I almost hung up on her, but pressed on and made the appointment for Thursday at 10am. She called my home at 1:ooam to cancel the appointment as she had to tend to her mother. I was actually kind of glad because her location was out of the way from my other appointments.

I did a drive by at 3:30 Friday as I was not having a banner day. She was home but was on her way out the door. She then suggested I would have to come back at a later time, to which I suggested she take 5 minutes and show me her existing policy and if it was worth a further look I would come back, which she did. She then sated she had to go get her grandkid so I suggested she go do that while I read her policy and she agreed. Five minutes later when she got back I had her policy all highlighted in pink where it stated term and future payments etc, and she seemed a little offended which I expected. I told her don't worry about it because when I leave your going to throw it away, anyway.

Which she did.

It just goes to show you never really know what you have for sure until you run it. It turned into an 80 dollar per month premium that at first I thought was going to be a waste of time.
