Had an appointment with a 76year old male yesterday in excellent health who was looking for $50,000 coverage. He had a underfunded UL that died a while back. The lowest cost WL I have is SofN. I shopped WL and no one came close to their price so I wrote it with them. No meds of health issues in the last 5 years so I am confident they will issue. I looked at FEXQuotes and Sagicor is a little lower priced for their UL if he gets preferred, but about the same for standard. Do y'all think he would get PNT with Sagicor?

I usually write a case like this with a FU carrier, but all were quite a bit higher for WL. Never heard of United Life of Iowa. Are they in FL?

Have a friend who writes Midland National and since they are very competitive on FEXQuotes I told him to have his upline to call me sometime. Well got a call today and after I told him that I would not write but a few cases a month he discouraged me from contracting. Said it is a grueling process and the application process is the same. Wanted me to split my cases with my freind. Suggested 60/40 and I just laughed. Told him I wanted 90% and he could keep everything above that. He said they don't pay 90% to their top agents. Not interested.

PM me about Midland, you can go direct.
You would like United Life, Iowa, alot of P&C agents use them
