Hello, we are a new web company and are seeking an insurer to provide product liability insurance for our future users. Our startup is an e-commerce platform for third parties to sell specialty food and beverage products. We want to add value for our sellers by providing various insurance solutions for those without existing policies (i.e. product liability/business/etc.)
Our main requirement is that the application process is seamless, that is, the initial application is submitted by the seller on our site. We understand this will take some work on the backend, and our developers are prepared to solve this issue with you/your technical contact.
Lastly, we prefer for the insurer to provide this solution for our sellers in multiple states.* While this will not be a requirement upon initial launch in North Carolina, we will eventually open the platform to all 50 states, and want a viable partnership to exist prior to this.
We are also open to advice that anyone may have to help point us in the right direction..thanks!!
