I am an experienced and very independent agent in NW Indiana. I've always been familiar with 'senior products' but got heavily involved in 2005 after losing some Group Health accounts. I sell Med Supps. and also Final Expense, Critical Illness plans, Senior Dental and Long-term Care (when I can find a good prospect). Most of my clients are middle income or less. I've even put some people on Med Advantage plans when it's their only financial alternative.
I'm looking for another agent, or agency who has clients but would prefer not to "bother" with the Medicare products by himself. For example, why don't these large P&C agency solicit their auto and homeowners clients who are now, or soon will be seniors. Seems like they are missing a good income stream.
