Shopping Citizens ? ? ?

Hey Buds,

I am in S.Fla. and was looking at a house for purchase. Its 1 mile from the beach and only about (1100 SF). From talking with the neighbors, it looks like Citizens (JUA or gov. backed ins.) is the only company that i can go with.

I had the 4 pt and Mitigation inspections done...and it came back clean.

1. Anyone know if RATES (quoted from Citizens) vary from one company to the next?
2. Does it hurt to shop rates from Ins. Agents who sell Citizens?

If all the agents are using the same data and quoting the same coverage and/or endorsements then citizens is citizens. No difference.
