I have been researching toll free numbers, Internet faxing, outbound dialers, etc. and I find that you need to go to several different sources to get these services. I noticed that Skype Business has all of these at a low rate. Has anyone used Skype for any of these, and what is your impressions. Thanks.

Can't speak about Skype Business, but I used regular Skype last year when my daughter was traveling in Europe. Cheap, fun toy, but I would never use it for business.

We do the same with our web cam and our daughter and granddaughter in Tennessee. Very good for that purpose.

I'll agree with Somarco and Xrac, I have used the individual MAC Version for a couple of years and it is great for Chat, Voice and Video, but nothing on the business.

I would say that if you are going a VOIP route for your biz that your connection speed is solid. Have used both Vonage and Packet 8 in the past and there were times it would drop the call or cut in and out if the connection speed slowed or was lost.

No internet based phone service will do well if you have a slow connection speed. I have a phone server for my call center and can't use Skype for that, but I have Skype for most of my "normal" phone uses and I think it's great. Great sound quality and haven't had problems with it for the last year I've been using it. I can even use it on my cell phone!
