So What Are Your Numbers Like?

Just curious as to what some of you folks are doing,

How many leads do you purchase per wk?
Of those purchased leads, how many appointments do you tend to get?
Of those appointments how many sales do you get?
and whats your average sale?

Do you think that if you were to double your lead purchases that your other numbers would double? (appointments and sales)

1) 25 -- will start working 30 weekly in 2012.
2) It varies -- once your flow is stable, it's feasible to hit 1/2 to 2/3rds of the lead cards as appointments (whether door-knocked or set by phone).
3) Probably get half the number of appointments as clients.
4) Average sale -- depends again. It's trended down lately due to working the hoodest of the hood. I was generally around $55-$60 monthly AP.

I am of the firm conviction that -- if you have a good presentation, decent door-skills, and know how to close -- that this is primarily a numbers game. Meaning the more leads you can work without sacrificing a thorough working of each lead -- that you should be able to incrementally increase your income.

Lastly, I think it makes more sense to focus on executing the right behaviors than necessarily hitting an arbitrary gross sales number. IE, do what it takes to hit a daily or weekly appointment number and make sure your delivering a solid presentation each time, and, over time, your income will reflect your hard work (assuming you hit such a goal).
