When did the State Farm agents start pushing BCBS of Texas? I thought they were in bed with Assurant... did I miss something?

Assurant is/was the only company SF agents could sell as far as I know...

We looked into Allstate recently and they wanted to offer us contracts with BCBSGa, but again that was Allstate. Maybe the P&C captives are working out deals behind the scenes with some health insurers. I would watch the comp though, probably giving 2% or something dumb like that. We didn't pursue the Allstate opportunity. We like being indy.

Hey maybe Assurant is going away, just saying.....?? I don't want to start any rumors.

They were captive to Assurant last I heard. That would prevent them from having a separate appointment with Blue. But, perhaps someone else in their office who is not a State Farm agent has the Blue appointment.
