Hi All,
I'm studying for my Life and Health and don't really have interest in the P&C realm but I totally enjoy this forum and see that there are quite a few "good guy" agents out there. Currently I have all my policies with State Farm, how are their rates. Would I benefit from shopping them? The reason I ask, I'm not a fan of my agent and have only done business with him because that's who my father uses. I truly believe the guy doesn't appreciate my business. To me, the guy is a real arse... One quick example... The wife and I were out having dinner and we ran into him, I asked about getting some liability insurance on my boat so I could fish some of the larger bass tournaments... He looked at me, smiled and said "sure come on in, I'll take more of your money". I give the guy somewhere between 3 and 4 grand a year and he says that?? I'd rather give it to someone who appreciates it for sure. I feel being a customer of 20+ years, this guy has come to expect my business but has never real done anything for me...
Here's what we have thru him:
Primary homeowners
Homeowners on investment property
Both cars
Business Liability
Additional policy on wife's jewelry
Is there anyone local to the Main Line of Philly (Montgomery Cty) that would want to look at our policies and see if we can change any or all?
