Hi all,

I have a new client who I enrolled who is concerned about a $210 co-pay for MRI/Cat Scan and 20% on DME.

20% on DME is pretty standard right? I haven’t seen any other plans that offer at less of a cost.

Are there any “supplements” that cover cat scans/MRI’s. This person is willing to pay a monthly premium to cover it.

I tried explaining to them it doesn’t get much cheaper than this and I included your 5 doctors and 16 medications.

Honestly told them they just need to apply for Medicaid with an income of under $20,000 per year.

All supplements cover cat scans and MRIs and there's no extra premium involved.

If a cat scan is ordered by your doctor and approved by Medicare, it's paid. No coinsurance and no copays. Same with DME.

And as far as Medicaid goes, They can help pay the clients premium. Depending on your state.
