I am TAKIN a poll on the pros and cons of selling each type of insurance.

I thought it would be good information to share and help agents to better enjoy what they are doing and learn the both the pros and cons of each.

Please...add your 2 cents in a constructive way...or if you can't be positive...give us your negative view without bashing the industry (if possible).

PROS: PC is a requirement by law for many items...that keeps demand very high as just about everyone has to have PC insurance of some type.

Some PC pays a high commission and can be used as a opener for other products.

CONS: PC is a largely regarded as a generic product...and competition can be very High.
 
Pros: Renewals, fast paced, long hours on the golf course after a few years

Cons: overworked and underpaid for the first few years, high competition, smaller commission compared to life in most cases.

From what i hear...the specialty items are best in PC. Workers Comp, specialized areas (planes, boats, etc).
