I'd really like to use one for selling FE. I know that Americo has am Ipad app for submitting applications. I don't believe anyone else does.

Can one use a fillable PDF for other companies? I know some agents that do this but I wonder if the carriers would approve if they knew this?

Liberty Bankers has one, & they'll actually pay you a bonus for submitting apps via iPad (up to a point).

That's cool. What I really want to do is just fill out apps in PDF and send them in. Can it be done on the up and up?

5 Star AmCon?

I'm not contracted with either one, so I don't know. But I don't think it would hurt to ask them about it. I think that some companies are working on it, but haven't rolled it out yet. Maybe you can nudge them along!

There's an app called Sign Now that allows you to physically apply signatures to documents. An applicant can sign with stylus or even a finger. It's a free app available for iPad and Android tablets. I keep applications pre loaded on my Galaxy tablet. You can print and fax applications in later. As far as I know it's completely legal and legit.

do a forum search on ipads, etc , there a a few threads. Ipads seem to have an edge with company implementing them vs android. There a several document scanning, management filling apps etc

When I do it on my ipad and fax from ring central it comes out of their fax machine just as if it was a paper app. Don't say sent from ipad or anything. There is no way to tell a difference so I'm not sure how it would matter. Could be wrong.

I think their could be some legality issues with seniors and esignatures. Somebody could later claim they didnt believe/understand what they were signing.

I love sign now and use it all the time, but I would never use it for apps after thinking about it. You can save somebody's signature in that app. Now you have all their pedigree info and their signature. A dishonest man could do all sorts of bad stuff with that.

If I ever did use e apps of some sort, I would think about adding my own page to get the client to sign stating they understand that they are signing this document with an esignature and that it is the same as using a pen and paper and holds the same weight legally.

^^^^that would be a fun document to explain:twitchy:
