I saw a big green advertisement that said something like 350K term with no underwriting. Anyone have a clue what company that might have been?

Actually, Assurity Term Product is NON MED. However, it is fully underwritten. Just had this conversation yesterday with an underwriter.

Great rates, fairly easy to work with.. Running 5 -7 days in underwriting as of this morning.

Simplified issue products get marketed as "non-med", but they'll still run MVRs, get medical records, ScriptCheck, send out specific questionnaires. They will still do a lot without an exam/labs.

Forgot to add that there is no POS at time of application (they have an e-app) If the underwriter has ? they will call the client. Just let the client know they might get a call to verify info.. If it is a clean application, shouldnt be an issue.

Yes. Plan on a week. Reread previous post. They are running 5 - 7 business days in underwriting. I have had all term policies approved about 19 in my first 7 months.
Note: if they want more details they will order medical records. I have only had one that they ordered medical records for and it took about 6 weeks (doctor was not helpful getting the records)
Client had a history of epilepsy with the last episode of over 4 years ago. I expected that the underwriter would want to see the medical history on the client so it was no surprise.

I will just add that only use the Eapp with clients that are comfortable with the internet and email or you will find that you have to resubmit it a couple times.

Great way to do the lower premium term deals where driving out just is not cost effective.

Of the non med terms they are one of the lower cost options. But they are not SITerm.

Also same thing with Transamerica (up to $249,999) and American National (up to $250k).

Assurity is a decent option but they do fully underwritten just no med exam. Fidelity Rapid decision is 24 hour turn around time but must be "standard" or better to get approved and is a little more expensive for the client but a tonnnnnnnnnnn faster!
