The economy -health insurance sales

My sales are up for 2008. However persistenty is way down.

The proposals of both candidates concern me. However, I think that the bigger concern is the fact that the other industrialized countries have some form of national health care. It is inevitable that we will have it here in the United States IMHO.

I'm working on the proper enunciation of "ya want fries with that?" just in case.

We are concerned, which is why we havent really built up our Health Insurance division yet. We are waiting to see whats going to happen. We write a policy if it falls in our lap, so far we only have about 30 health policies in our book. Nothing to be proud of right? But not much to lose if we do get a Universal plan and we lose all 30 of those.

I want what's best for the people of the U.S. so I hope that whatever we decide as a country, that it works out for all of us. I cant imagine that even if we do go to a Universal plan, that there wont be a place in that plan for Health Insurance agents, but ya never know. So for now, we are keeping our exposure small and concentrating on P&C + Financial Planning. Which no one wants to turn loose of their dollars for right now either :GEEK:

People's money is going between their mattresses or out in the backyard in a hole right now. I don't blame em on a consumer level, but I realize that the behavior is causing even more damage.

The proposals don't worry me, but it's a wise decision to have a few back up plans just in case.

Well we're already spending money on universal healthcare...except our tax dollars are going to Mass. residents.

They just got the green light to spend 21 billion (yes, that starts with a B and is just for one state) over the next three years.

So if you'd like to actually see a benefit for your tax dollars I'd recommend packing up and moving to Boston.

Well, being a person that was "held hostage" in Boston for 3 years, no thanks!! The only good thing to come out of MA was Dunkin Donuts.......
