Tips for a Fairly New Producer

Hey everyone. I'm a producer licensed in property and casualty, life, health, annuities and ltc. I work for an exclusive agent for a widely known insurance company. I've been licensed almost two years now. I have 10 months experience working for State Farm, and I have been with my current company since October.

I have the most success selling auto insurance and some homeowners and renters. I'd really like to learn more about selling life insurance and ltc, since I'm the only producer (other than the agent) who is licensed in these.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I wonder if that widely know insurance company you work might be of help with that question.

Just a WAG.

Wow. No need for the negativity.

I've done the initial training that is required, and I'm studying the products we offer. Both agents I have worked for/am working for are new agents and not very familiar with the products. Neither have seemed confident enough to start a life insurance conversation. The training makes it look so easy, but I think we all know that most of the time that isn't the case.

Some guidance would be nice.

Just ignore the higher post count members. Most of them are not even licensed. GreenSky actually lost the race for CA insurance commissioner, his mother told him he would win if he ran...
