Who all has had an increase in Tornados? I live in the mid-atlantic region in a state with historically 2 tornados throughout the entire year. Just last week we had 6 tornados. Apparently tornado ally is moving eastward. Hence the historically low tornado activity our wind/hail deductibles have always been AOP. I don't even see how we are going to get wind coverage at all after this year.

The last few years have seen an uptick in dixie alley and a slowdown in the traditional alley. A lot of this had to do with the La Nina/El Nino cycle. Data is suggesting we will see a very active traditional tornado alley over the next six weeks. Who knows though. The current cycle is rotating very quickly. The current El Nino is only a year old and it is already changing back to LNina this summer.
