I had a case earlier this year I thought was a dead end and this board found me a carrier to get a $1500 AP case issued, so I will try again even though I expect it to be a dead end.

Age 48

Cancer history that just got done being treated 18 months ago. Two types of cancer: thyroid and Hoginsons Lynphoma.

Diabetes

Very over weight, although I don't have the numbers.

Anything except guaranteed issue? Makes good money through his business and has the means to buy. Didn't blink at a $12,000 AP on his wife.

Depending on the diabetes question, AmCon graded 40% 1st year, 75% second year. Or wait 6 months and do immediate coverage with them.

If diagnosed with diabetes before age 40 or takes more then 40 units of insulin per day disregard the above.

just wait 6 months... Explain to the client why.... you will then have his trust even more.

For $12K AP are they looking for a larger fully UW policy rather than final expense? Obviously, fully UW would be a tough nut but you'll have a hard time stacking enough different SIWL FE policies to get to $12K AP.

Thanks, I'll check with Am Cont first. The husband has the issues, not the wife. The premium will only be around $1,200 for her of term coverage. She is losing weight and does not want to lock in permanent premiums yet. Rather reevaluate in a year and rewrite or convert then. My only point is they have the money and desire to get coverage for him if we can find an option.

While that might be the logical thing, you should never advise a client that's what they should do. What if they happen to die within that 6 months? Maybe someone else, like his wife, knew that you told him to do that?

Right or wrong, could you afford the lawsuit? If not a lawsuit, how about your conscience?

make hay when the sun shines. write them now and get the meter running for the 2 year clock If you can rewrite them in 6 months to their benefit do so but get the meter running and money in the bank while the gettings good.

If you put it off they just might run into a salesman!

From the description, I doubt she's running anywhere. :D
