Training a new agent

I am contemplating starting a guy as a telemarketer that is currently unlicensed.

He is a super salesperson, and has recently passed his licensing exam. I am thinking about 2 weeks until his license is effective. I am planning to have him start cold-calling for me until his license is issued.

Has anyone gone this route with new agents? The issue with this guy is he needs to start earning some income quickly, and I thought I could pay him per lead he generates.

Can I legally give him a bounty for a sale?

What pitfulls/liability do I have doing an "earn while you learn" type program?

Thanks!

I highly doubt a license is required to merely generate leads and listen to me close sales?

True, as long as he does not discuss any details of the product and/or attempt to make a sale. But PA DOI has become very aggresive about this, so agencies have to be careful.

I have a telemarketer and i just pay a flat hourly rate plus a bonus....

As for a new agent, one thing scares me, people who are tight with cash rarely make it, from my experience, Im sure there are exceptions...

When I was a recruiter we had a saying... "We want the greedy, not the needy."
