How does the trending topics thing work? I notice should you get a series 7 is a trending topic except there have been no posts since April? Is this due to the forum change or does it need to be looked?

Trending topics is based on how recent the article has been updated, not the underlying threads...so, there may be a new article written as an intro to a thread that is three years old, in which case there may be no new posts.

Okay so what's trending is the new intro article.....It would probably safe to say as we go out from the new forum that trending topics may more accurately reflect true trending topics with current content.
