This just in . . . KP and Blue will continue to issue child only plans in Georgia . . . at least for a while.

Blue will only offer Tonik.

KP will offer the full line.

No word from Blue on starting rates or final underwritten rates. KP has released starting rates but not max rates.

KP will pay a commission. Blue is non-committal.

I think its great that you have two companies to choose from. I have only one.

I've seen references to "KP" a lot lately, but I can't figure out what company this is. Please let me know so I can license with them, if they're in Illinois. The only company in this state offering a stand-alone under age 19 plan after 9/22/2010 is Blue Cross of Illinois, and it will be web-based and non-commission. Thanks in advance. -Allen

Darnit..that's too bad! Sounds like you're really high on this company. I'll check it out though for the agents our brokerage has in other states. Thanks Somarco!

p.s. Either their IT department is on a shoestring budget, or their website is getting hammered with traffic. SLOOOOOWER than a snail right now.

KP has their good points. Haven't placed much business with them in a couple of years due to high rates. Still about the highest around but they do an outstanding job of taking care of patients.

Had a few high claim patients and they had less OOP than they would have had with a PPO.
