Hello
I have just found this site and forum and hope one or some of you can point me in the right direction.
My company provides travel insurance and life assurance and specialises in situations where people have medical conditions that need to be included.
I would like to sell these policies purely over the internet to residents in Australia and the USA.
I did some research a while ago (but now can't find it!) that indicated I could be exempt from US licensing regulations as a foreign insurer if my policies couldn't be placed by brokers in four States. There is the possibility of a similar exemption under Australian law.
Obviously I don't want to break any country's law but I am authorised and regulated by the UK's Financial Services Authority and will conduct business purely over the internet.
Can someone help me with how to do this?
Many thanks
