Has anyone had any success selling the UA Partners Discount Card or the Accident Compensation Plan (up to $10,000.00 if you lose both eyes or 2 limbs, or die in an accident, etc.). Both plans are cheap, the Partners is $6.95 per month for an individual, and the Accident plan is $8.00.
I was thinking that they might make a good little "draw" product, to bring customers in for the more profitable products I offer (i.e. Life).
I have seen quite a negative view of UA on the board, and most other Torchmark companies as well. I am only contracted with UA because my dad was with them, and I obtained an appointment mostly to maintain our old cases. They seem to have a limited product range, and what they have is somewhat expensive, but they are my only health carrier at this time, and I think they are probably the only ones who offer these little, cheap products as are herein described.
