Would you be fooled? Does this sound any better to you? Is this good or bad?

You got to hear this: I called a networking gear company and got "Heather." I could barely understand her. Those days may be over. Teleperformance, the world's largest call center company, is using AI to change Indian accents into American or British ones in real time. You need to take a sec, click here and select Demo. Pick a person, hit Play and toggle the button on and off. Amazing.

All these AI companies think there schemes are going to somehow fool people. I don't know of anyone who trusts a phone number they don't recognize or a random text. I laugh because AI will make people more suspicious and I believe will have a counter affect.

Remember when Primatech had the Avatar leads, and the forum members were using them ? That's what this made me think of.

I agree they sound more understandable but still with non USA accents, not even really USA regional accents, if the companies are trying to fool people into believing that they are dealing with someone in the USA in my opinion it's a big fail (excepting for first generation immigrants but no way would people believe that every person at the end of customer support is first generation).

most unknown numbers don't even show up on my phone. they get screened straight to voicemail by the call spam blocker and for the free tier it does really well. If it got really bad I wouldn't hesitate to bump it up to the paid version...

This is pretty good .. most seniors would be ok with this … hell they purchase from the accents now .. this is even better …
