Well, I paid for my first order with EFES on Sept 27th and I haven't gotten one back yet. I'm not stressing I knew it would take about three weeks.
So in the interim I was working some Gold $10 Bonus Leads from EFES but I really ran those into the ground last week but I did make just under $3K for a $470 investment. So I figured that I would work on the Lincoln Heritage leads that a co-worker of mine at the United Healthcare Call center let me have.
Now some quick background. I started working at the call center so I could learn about medicare, so I could make some money while my leads started flowing in, and to use the call center money as a way to help pay my lead costs. Anyway, there is a woman there that is contracted with LH and is fed up with them and sold me a list of her leads for $50. with the promise that I would give her $50 per sale. She said she tried to work them but that nobody was receptive to her because she is black. I don't believe that and think it's because she is a little weak on the FE side.
Well so far I've paid her $100 off of two sales that netted me $850. So with me being off of the call center Wed-Fri I set out to work some more of the leads that she gave me (27 in all).
I had a late start and didn't knock on the first door until 2:30. I introduced myself and the nice woman invited me in. After finding out her reason for sending the card in, thank you JD for the 3 reasons, and what her budget was, and what kind of service she wanted, we started looking for a company for her. Everything was going great with Americo until I started checking her medications. She has had a bone marrow transplant over 4 years ago and was taking a Sirolimus medication because of the transplant.
So after reading that and looking at other companies I settled on Monumental. Now, I did sign her up for level coverage since the question on the app asks about "ORGAN" transplants and bone marrow is not an organ.
So, on this one here not a huge sale but the woman now has coverage. 3K of coverage for $192AP
Second knock was just around the corner in the same area. Was a 70 y/o marine who admitted that he had nothing, needed something, and wanted to stay within budget. I could tell this guy was the kind of guy that didn't want or need the presentation. He said that a LH agent did come by before to see him and offered him 10K of coverage for $50 a month. I explained that it wasn't possible unless the agent was quoting the Accidental rider since he smoked cigars, pipes, and dipped chewing tobacco.
I wound up with Americo on this one for 5500K of coverage for 504AP.
So I guess I need to give the co-worker another C-Note after the policies are issued. Only knocked on those two doors today. MAN, I can't wait to start running my own leads.
