Why is NM More Expensive Than Banner (Legal/General)?

Josh makes a good point on the cost of riders. Company Q could be the lowest monthly premium till you add Disability Waiver or Child Riders then it should flip to company A. Talk to an Independent agent.

Playing with the numbers looks like $1,000,000.00 is a better deal at $128.W/SBLIC

Again, these are just numbers till someone does a prequalifying fact find. Before that it is just guys jockeying to be that guy.

Unicorns and rainbows...everyone looks like a triathlete before they go to underwriting.:D

Why? Because they can.

There is certain business they don't want, and you might fit into that category. No big deal, you just go with the company that does.

Another thing to consider here is if the policy is a participating term policy where it will receive the dividends that the companies pay out. Most NWM policies are participating policies. I don't know that this justifies the price difference you are here between the companies.

The reason to buy NWM over Banner is not for the term...Its for the future conversion options.
