Workers' Compensation Commission

Does anybody have any information on the commission rates and structure for workers' compensation? Any information you have would be helpful. Thanks.

In NY the commission payout is significantly less than other lines. Most carriers pay 2-5%, some will pay as much as 10%. If you're unfortunate enough to have to use the State Fund, you're not paid at all unless you fee it.

Commission is usually based on the premium net of fee's and assessments. Hope that helps.

In my state commissions vary from 5% to 10%, most commonly 7%.

One carrier doesn't pay any commissions on what they deem as uninsurable policies.
