While Google remains the dominant player among small business advertisers, Yahoo! and Bing (formerly MSN) have gained significant market share since the third quarter of 2008, as much as 5 percent.

This is exceptional news for Microsoft’s Bing, which launched this past summer, making its first few months in the search marketing space highly successful. (Very Low Rates for Keywords on Paid Ads. Great Converting Source!)

Additionally, the report shows click-through rates (CTR) improved year over-year across all the engines, with the biggest improvement on Yahoo!,

Thanks for the info, as for the holiday surge we just finished migrating all our files to a dedicate server so open the doors and let the shoppers in!

So...from an SEO standpoint, are there things Yahoo and Bing take into account that Google doesn't (or doesn't weigh as heavily).

I think I once read that either Yahoo or MSN consider the key words in your domain more than Google.

This is great news. Glad to see someone take on Google. Talk about a monopoly. By the way all they do is give all their profits to liberal groups and causes.

Look at who is opposing google now. News corp- aka (Fox news) has approached microsoft about displaying its news content on Bing and blocking Google from some of the news sites. This was in Bloomberg news today. Bloomberg.com. I couldn't link the article.
