You Gotta Love This Business

We left for Isla Mujeres on 2/20 for seven days of no work and all relaxation.

We extended out the trip for four extra days... the plane was over booked and we didn't want anyone to suffer so we volunteered to stay behind and let everyone else have a seat on the plane.

We got home yesterday.

Anyway... we missed eight days in the office. It's 2:35 pm and we're caught up and added two new clients.

Life. Is. Good.

I'm going on vacation more often.

Ive went on vacation for weeks at a time and had my office calls forwarded to my cell phone and made thousands of dollars worth of commissions right in the middle of my trip....So whoopity do for you big shot!

Haha....that's the great thing about this business. If you do it right, you can make money from almost anywhere.

I ain't braggin... just saying we're blessed to be in this business ya putz. Of course like all threads you visit you have to make something negative out of it.

I love that island....I've never stayed overnight on it. Do they have nice hotels?

They have some unbelievable good deals on places to stay. We learned alot and for our return trip this Oct/Nov we're renting a house on the carib side to hear the waves crashing for another 11 days.

I remember, one side of the island is calm and peaceful and the other side was rocky and had huge waves crashing - it was really different. What does it run to rent a house?

11 days at $55/night a stone throw from the Carib... jeepers. It's almost nuts not to go.

It has it's lows (slumps)

But Man oh Man, The highs are very Cool!

I remember doing some business at the Weston on Kaanapali Beach. The waiter dumped my wife's mai tai on my cell. Best part of the trip. Still think she paid him to do it.
