My life has always been amazing.What I mean is I always had mentors help me along the way.No matter what the challenge was somebody was willing to help figure things out.And anytime I could help somebody I did the same.
I thought I was going to be just adding final expense with Medicare advantage plans.But just in this short week I realized final expense is a big market to cross sell.When your helping a senior get a plan to cover their final expenses when they pass away your also helping their family and friends get help to.If you gain their trust and they see your knowledge they have to talk about you and give you referrals.
That's why I say If you only think your selling final expense well think again, you have to learn term,universal,and whole life products.Here I was limiting my self. When your helping the seniors and you see kids running around how could you not ask questions if their parents have coverage or can I review their policy to see if I can get them better coverage.What's the phrase they use,don't leave money on the kitchen table.I also realized you have to know your products and the competition.
Guys these are just my thoughts,I know nothing is new.I just think as you learn more your world just starts to open up wider.
I got 1 appointment and a few door knocks sat,but after that ill be studying my life insurance products over the weekend.
