100 units insulin?

Seems as if many carriers will issue anyone with 100 units or more of insulin a graded/modified plan. Are there any carriers that will offer standard or pref to those in this category. Most of the content on the forum regarding this topic is a couple of years old so thought I would ask again to see answers relevant to current carrier underwriting.

Foresters, RNA, and MoO will allow issue them level coverage.
Will they reduce comp or decline based on previous MIB hits? I know the applicant had MOO and canceled a few years ago. I understand this means he may(probably will) cancel whatever I place but I figure its worth a try.

To my knowledge... Trans will offer it as standard... the key there is that they still could get the AD rider...

Depends on what codes exist in MIB. A code about insulin use won't be an issue for those three carriers though.

You are a brave man sending someone on 100 units of insulin to MOO. They will hunt high and low until they find "complications", it has been a while but I believe that is graded with MOO.

Royal Neighbors, Foresters and Trinity/FBLIC would be a better fit. At 100 units, you really need a company that doesn't care about neuropathy, because odds are they have it.

When did MOO start asking about units of insulin???

They don't, as far as I know. But that many units, odds are they have neuropathy and you know how MOO is about neuropathy. Sending anyone with diabetes to MOO is dangerous as they will quickly turn that into graded for you.
